A Message from the Conference Co-Chairs

We are both delighted to have been brought on board to co-chair the conference committee. We have seen this conference grow and grow over the years and to be given the opportunity to oversee the development of the 2018 conference is a true honour. Research to Practice 2018 is being held on 27 – 29 March 2018 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Brisbane, Qld, Australia.

Research to Practice 2016 in Melbourne was a spectacular conference. With over 1200 delegates, we saw exercise and sports science professionals from around the country, and the world, diverge on the city of laneways to share the latest evidence and research.

Our hope is to build on these successful foundations and bring the world to sunny Brisbane!

Research to Practice 2018 will be held the week before the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, meaning Queensland will be primed and ready to receive exercise and sports scientists from around the globe.

We do hope you will join us in Brisbane and help us share, exchange and promote the research and evidence-based practice that drives our professions.
